Knowledgeable solutions for your brass parts
Because of its chemical composition, brass has many low friction benefits as well as a resistance to sparking. This makes it perfect for use in critical applications or where volatile gases are present.
Made up primarily of copper and zinc, brass is non-magnetic, conducts electricity well, and is easily cast and extruded. By varying the proportions of copper and zinc, or including other chemicals such as aluminum, iron or manganese, unique compounds can be produced with varying properties. Harder, softer, corrosion resistant and tear resistant compounds can be formulated for your application.
